OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Since 1993 Samaritan’s Purse has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 244 million children in more than 175 countries and territories around the world. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. We are joining tens of thousands of volunteers from around the world who partner with Operation Christmas Child to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are suprised with these shoebox gifts. Many shoebox recipients are also invited to participate in The Greatest Journey, our follow-up discipleship course where they learn to know, grow in, and share Jesus Christ.
Operation Christmas Child is an excellent way for families to serve together.
Pack a shoebox
Pick up a preprinted shoebox and a “How the Pack a Shoebox” flyer on Sundays at the Welcome Center or buy a plastic shoe size container. Fill the box with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and/or clothing for a boy or girl, ranging in age from 2 to 14. (How to Pack a Shoebox) This is a good project for families to do together and for children to write a note to include in their box.
Drop off the filled box(es) back at the Welcome Center
by Sunday, November 15.

You can give boys and girls in need a tangible expression of God’s love through a gift-filled shoebox packed from your computer or handheld device. In just a few clicks, you can select toys and other fun items to include as well as a letter and photo to delight the heart of a child.

Make a monetary donation online. Your $10 gift helps cover the cost of collecting, processing, and shipping a gift-filled Operation Christmas shoebox to a boy or girl in need.
A $10 donation per box also helps provide The Greatest Gift Gospel Booklets, which are written in the children’s language and distributed along with shoebox gifts, as well as opportunities to train and equip local churches to use our Ministry Partner Guide.
